About

Miles Garden Design is very much a family business. We are particularly interested in creating wildlife friendly gardens, using local, reclaimed materials and planting with wildlife and pollinators in mind. We have been designing and building gardens throughout Norfolk and Suffolk for over 20 years.

Professional qualifications

Jamie (BSc. (Hons), Dip. PSGD) is a knowledgeable garden designer, with an honours degree in Pure and Applied Ecology from the University of Sheffield and a diploma in Garden Design from one of the longest established garden design schools –  the Pickard School of Garden Design. This flagship diploma was created by multi-award winning designer and former Vice-Chairmen of the Society of Garden Designers, Christopher Pickard.

To complement his design skills and horticultural knowledge, Jamie has a wealth of practical gardening experience and enthusiasm.
