About Miles Garden Design

Miles Garden Design specialises in wildlife-friendly garden design and build projects across Norfolk and Suffolk.

We are passionate about creating beautiful gardens that work in harmony with nature — using thoughtful planting, wildlife-friendly features and, wherever possible, local and reclaimed materials. With over 20 years’ experience designing and building gardens, we create outdoor spaces that are both practical and beautiful, while supporting pollinators and biodiversity.

Jamie (BSc (Hons), Dip. PSGD) is an experienced garden designer with an honours degree in Pure & Applied Ecology from the University of Sheffield and a diploma in Garden Design from the long-established Pickard School of Garden Design.

Alongside his design training and horticultural knowledge, Jamie brings extensive practical gardening experience and a longstanding enthusiasm for gardens that combine strong design with genuine wildlife value.

Jamie was also one of the designers behind the Ember Inns Old and New Pub Garden at Chelsea 2003, awarded an RHS Silver-Gilt Medal in the Chic Gardens category.

Jane (BSc (Hons), MRes, RHS Certificate in Horticulture) looks after the technical and administrative side of the business and creates planting plans.

With a Masters degree in Environmental Science and a strong interest in horticulture, Jane particularly enjoys designing planting schemes and growing cut flowers. She also runs a floral preservation business, WallFlower Art.
