This very steep site required careful planning. An upper patio area overlooks an ‘infinity’ pond which appears to drop over the edge into the trees but actually, the water flows into a lower pool before being pumped back to the top. Steps on one side of the patio and a gentler winding path on the other side lead down the slope to the bottom of the garden which is planted up with shrubs that thrive in shade.
